Feedback workshop on the mission to meet and exchange views with stakeholders in the rubber value chain -San Pedro

On Tuesday 11 October 2022 in San Pedro, stakeholders in the rubber industry and representatives of several public and private bodies began a workshop to discuss the processing of natural rubber from rubber trees, as part of the Competitive Value Chains for Employment and Economic Transformation Project (PCCET).

The two-day workshop reviewed and validated the results of the first round of discussions with stakeholders in the rubber industry. These meetings were held by the PCCET coordination unit from 1 July to 19 August 2022 in the rubber-growing regions of Mé, Agnéby-Tiassa, Tonkpi, Nawa, Indénié-Djuablin and Lôh-Djiboua.
Discussions with stakeholders focused on a number of areas, including the major challenges facing the development of the sector, constraints and their causes, possible solutions and action plans to be put in place.
